Fee
structure for Individual Consultations
Effective November 2011

Payment Methods
We accept cash, credit cards and EFTPOS and payment is required on the day of consultation. We have HICAPS facilities so you can claim your health fund rebates electronically in our rooms and just pay us the gap. For EPC care plan clients who are eligible for a Medicare rebate (see below), payment is requested on the day of consultation but if you bring an Eftpos card we can process your Medicare refund in the rooms and have it deposited into your cheque or savings account (usually the same day).

All our Dietitian's are registered providers for all major private health funds, which means you may be able to claim a private health fund rebate for our services, depending on your level of cover. Rebates vary but can be as high as 80% of the consultation fee. Please check with your health fund to determine your own eligibility for a rebate.
For your convenience, our office has HICAPS facilities to enable you to claim your refund at the time of consultation and just pay the gap payment to us. Please bring your health fund card with you. This is available for most funds. If your fund doesn't support HICAPS processing, we will give you a receipt on the day to claim your rebate with your health fund.
Fees - Medicare Rebates for Enhanced Primary Care Programs
Individual Consultations
Medicare rebates may be available for clients who have a chronic health condition (as determined by your GP) with complex care needs serviced by two or more additional health professionals. Your GP determines how many appointments you can be referred for (a maximum of 5 can be allocated each calendar year). A specific care plan form is then completed which you need to bring along to us. You may also be eligible for group education appointments (see below).
All of our Dietitians are registered to provide these Medicare funded services (fees and rebates below). If you are interested in finding out more, you should contact your GP to discuss your eligibility and take along our contact details.
